Electric. Among other wonderful things

The Audi e-tron has fulfilled its pioneering role as an all-electric vehicle. So now the time has come to include it by name in the portfolio of Audi models – as the Audi SQ8 e-tron².

Power consumption (combined¹,²) in kWh/100 km: 29.0–26.2; CO₂ emissions (combined¹,²) in g/km: 0.

Elevated driving experience

Climb in and experience the almost silent acceleration of the electric motors. Benefit from higher traction and stability thanks to fully electric all-wheel drive. Improved driving dynamics thanks to adaptive air suspension sport and numerous assist systems. A removable trailer hitch is optionally available.

Electrification visualised

The Audi SQ8 e-tron² with a new look, specific daytime running light signature and S emblems also reflects its sportiness on the outside. While the mythos black, metallic paint finish emphasises the vehicle’s sporty character, the boldly sculptured shoulder line expresses the quattro architecture.

All the range

The high-voltage battery with a capacity of up to 106 kWh (net) and with a maximum range of up to 458 kilometres. When the battery state of charge is low, you can make use of additional range potential, for example by activating the Range mode⁶ in the MMI.

Convenient motoring

There are various charging options for the Audi SQ8 e-tron², both at home and on the road. Charging is even easier with Plug & Charge¹⁰. And thanks to its increased battery capacity and the comprehensive charging service, you can also enjoy electric mobility on long journeys.

Home charging situation Audi SQ8 e-tron

Charging at home: The e-tron charging systems compact¹¹ or connect¹¹ are optionally available for home charging. The Audi wallbox models¹² allow even more convenient charging.

Elegant sportiness

When getting in, you’ll be welcomed by a high-quality, sporty ambience underlined by the optional sport seats plus, front with S emblems. Enjoy the generous feeling of space and outstanding comfort in the Audi SQ8 e-tron².

Digital services

The digital world of mobility is opened up to you with numerous Audi connect services²⁰ such as online traffic information²¹ that is always up to date or the option of booking equipment flexibly through functions on demand and the myAudi app¹⁷ that keeps you extremely well informed about your Audi’s driving data.

Climb in and dive into a virtual world

Take a seat in the back, put the VR headset on and enjoy an extraordinary experience. Audi brings virtual reality entertainment from holoride²³ into your vehicle. This innovative technology combines driving motion with virtual worlds. When your Audi takes a corner you feel it on the rear seat. But the change in direction is also perceived visually – for example, by the spaceship depicted in 3D in the headset flying a curved path.

For a sustainable future

Future-oriented solutions at Audi include the conscious use of resources, environmentally friendly production and carbon-neutral vehicle delivery²⁴. For example, we use green electricity – including from the photovoltaic systems on the roofs of the production buildings – for the supply of heat and battery manufacturing.

Information on fuel/power consumption and CO₂ emissions with ranges depending on the selected equipment of the vehicle. Only consumption and emission values according to WLTP and not according to NEDC are available for the vehicle.
9
The charging time of the battery can vary depending on a number of factors including ambient temperature, the use of other country-specific connectors and use of the preconditioning function (e.g. remote-controlled air conditioning of the vehicle). When using domestic connectors, the e-tron charging system limits charging capacity.
10
The service for using the Plug & Charge function is – like the e-tron Charging Service – available in the countries Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary. Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and UK. For the time being, the service in Europe (ECE) is only available at charging stations in the IONITY network with Plug & Charge function. The service will be expanded to include other charge point operators (CPOs) on a country-specific basis. In North American markets (NAR), the service for using the Plug & Charge function is available at charging stations marked with Plug and Charge that are operated by electrify america.
11
The optional e-tron charging system compact has a charging capacity of up to 11 kW. The optional e-tron charging system connect has a charging capacity of up to 22 kW (only in conjunction with optional on-board charger up to 22 kW). Charging capacity depends on the type of mains connector used, the country’s voltage and the number of available phases of the power network as well as the customer’s own domestic installation. It may therefore be lower in some cases. The mains connecting cable with industrial connector and the operating unit of the charging system are matched to each other and enable a certain charging capacity. Although it is technically feasible to switch the mains connecting cable to a different industrial connector later on, this could result in a lower charging capacity.
12
Available from Volkswagen Group Charging GmbH (Elli).
13
Please note: The two AC charging ports cannot be used simultaneously. The simultaneous use of both AC charging ports is prevented by a locking concept for the charging flaps.
14
Charging with 22 kW at home requires the optional e-tron charging system connect or an alternative home charging solution that supports 22 kW AC. The standard e-tron charging system compact is limited to 11 kW.
15
To start with, an existing contract with the e-tron Charging Service is required before the function is activated. The service can then be activated via the myAudi app and the corresponding electronic Plug & Charge certificate for using the service is transmitted “over the air” to the selected Plug & Charge-capable vehicle. Access and network: The number of available charging points is growing all the time. The e-tron Charging Service can be used only for electrified models of the Audi brand (valid vehicle identification number required). Europe-wide access: The e-tron Charging Service is available in 26 European countries. Provision in further countries is planned. The number of available charging points is growing all the time but varies from country to country and depends on the extent to which the existing infrastructure is expanded. There is no entitlement to access to all of the charging points in a given country. AUDI AG does not guarantee the operation, availability, charging capacity and other properties of the charging infrastructure. Location information about the number of charging points is updated regularly; there is no obligation to provide complete information. The e-tron Charging Service customer card can be used in the network only after 24 hours following activation of the card. Within these first 24 hours, the card can be used, where appropriate, with local restrictions. Authentication via myAudi app (QR code on the charging point) requires an active radio and internet connection. This authentication method is not available at all charging points. Prices are harmonised within individual European countries but may vary from the price offered in Germany. The latest price and contract information for your country can be found at www.e-tron.charging-service.audi. The Audi e-tron Charging Service is available from Digital Charging Solutions GmbH (Mies-van-der-Rohe-Strasse 6, 80807 Munich, Germany).
